Welcome to my homepage. It's not much at the moment, but I've got some cool things coming soon. Up there is a picture of my wife, our son, her brother, his bride, and me.

Personal Info:

My name is Pao Vang. I am Hmong. My parents and me are refugees from Laos. We came over here after the Vietnam War in 1979. I've been living in California for as long as I can remember. We moved around a lot during my childhood. I've lived in Fresno, Hanford, and Santa Ana at one point or another. Now that I'm married and settled, my wife and I are living in Fresno until we finish school. I'm going for a Computer Science major as CSUF. 

I've always been fascinated with computers once I started a basic programming class in 7th grade.  Ever since then, I've learned more programming and started tinkering with computer hardware.  Nowadays, I build and maintain my own computer as well as a few of my friends who are less computer savvy.  I frequent computer hardware sites as well as software sites.  I'm a big fan of video games.  Hopefully after I finish my BS in Computer Science, I can get a job programming or even making video games.  I'm also interested in other facets of computer technology. 

I have a few hobbies and interests.  My family takes up most of my free time.  One of my hobbies is "emulation".  Specifically, video game emulation.  Emulation is basically, running software on your computer that wasn't programmed to run on it.  This simple idea allows any software in existence to run on your computer.  As long as someone programs an emulator for it. It takes a very experienced computer programmer/programmers to make a useable "emulator".  If you want to learn more about it, then visit the links to the left.
